New Gwadar International Airport Pakistan

The Brand New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) is an international airport under construction in Gwadar, Pakistan. It is being built by Pakistan, Oman and China with supervision of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. 

Its objective is to enhance the economy of the Gwadar as well as the neighboring areas. It will serve as a link of connectivity and commerce.

PIA is one of the first airlines to operate from the airport as it currently operates flights to Dubai, Doha and Zurich. One of the other objectives of the airline is to expand its routes further in the near future. The new airport is bound to enhance the local economy through increased tourism and increased job opportunities.

The new Gwadar International Airport, which stretches over 4300 acres, is expected to be Pakistan’s largest airport.
